SUB:MERGED – Living Room Meets Museum

Short Description:

SUB:MERGED – Living Room Meets Museum
Museumsnacht Koblenz, 06 September 2025
Ludwig Museum Koblenz, 3rd floor

As part of the 2025 Museumsnacht Koblenz, the third floor of the Ludwig Museum transforms into a collaborative, immersive exhibition space. Under the title SUB:MERGED – Living Room Meets Museum, local and subcultural artists bring their works into institutional space – blending painting, photography, glass art, sculpture, light installations, sound, and spatial concepts.

The idea: artworks that would typically live in personal, private or underground spaces are placed into a museum context – creating friction, new connections, and shifting how we engage with contemporary creation.

The exhibition features contributions from:
Hendrik Janßen, Katja Mölich, Jimi Neumann, Isabelle Hoffmann, Willow Wildgrube, Christian Rothenhagen, Naetif, Mapletree Skateboards, Viviane Pauline Huras, Marc André Pischl, Tristan Mölich, Max Kohlhaas, and the Klangmosaik collective.

Visual design & layout by Soheyl Nassary / EYETM Design & Kommunikation
In collaboration with Ludwig Museum Koblenz, ATLAS BAR and NDS.25
